I'm Emil H.J. Nijhuis and I'm 19 years old. At the moment I'm studying computer science at the University of Amsterdam. I play Go probably around 7 years now and I studied the game as in Insei in Japan for one year. Since about 2 years I'm teaching a lot to beginners but also to more advanced players. My current level is 5-dan in Europe. |

A great sponsor of many go-activities. He inspired me to create the IEGM.
Vice President of the EGF. He gave me instantly access to the EGF-server which I appreciated a lot.
Thanks to them the magazine has "real" interactive go-content. Flash movies are recently getting very popular amoung the internet-community. Flash movies are a fantastic way of teaching go via the internet (for beginners but also for more advanced players). Olivier is thinking about creating a tool which would make compiling flash movies easy for everyone. But since such a project would take about a month a sponsor is needed. Interested people can contact him or me.
Robert sended me 8 articles, so actually there could be twice as many articles on this edition. Unfortunately I was unable to compile them until now, since they implemented a lot of work. I hope I'll have them ready for the next edition
An ambitious go-writer in the UK. I hope we will be able to appreciate more of his valuable articles.
A strong polish go-player, who spends a lot time of teaching to his and other children.
Mr.I.G.S. Doubt |
|
A nice dutch go-fellow who prefers to share his thoughts about go under an anounymous name.
Thanks to him I had to reformat my harddisk without a backup. Basically he helps me out with everything I don't know. Sometimes things go wrong, but without him things would even go more wrong... :)
The go community without him is very hard to imagine. He gave me some advices concerning webdesign.
